We’ve been called by Accurat to develop an interactive website for Google Trends where people can visualise their hopes creating permanent AR sculptures through the materialization of big data.
We developed the experience in WebGL to let the user interact with their hopes in 3D. The website is available on desktop, tablet and mobile. Mobile experience is enriched by an augmented reality mode. People are able to navigate through their and other’s hopes and discover data from Google Trends worldwide, making possible to easily share their sculptures and see how other people are taking care of issues in the world. The visual mood by Accurat is inspired by the zen aesthetic and material design.
An opportunity to share and understand what the world is hopeful for. We developed a website where users can create and visualize a sculpture made by their hopes represented by stones of different colors. Each stone is related to a different global issue and constituted of data directly taken from Google Trends. Once a sculpture is created, the user can visualize all datas concerning his hopes, share it on Facebook or Twitter and compare it with other users worldwide. Datas are always updated in real time and the user is able to see the interest, over the last two years and by region, in his specific hopes. Only on mobile and tablet the navigation is increased by an AR experience.
