MONOGRID has been two steps ahead of the fast pace world of virtual reality. This revolutionary video for Tim and Samsung was achieved with a one of a kind rig, designed and created for the purpose of an uninterrupted 360° slow motion experience.
Shot with a total of 10 GoPro 4 Black cameras at a frame rate of 120fps, the placement of the cameras and the rig itself allowed for an almost seamless 360° view.
The result immerses the viewer into a colorful slow motion virtual dance party. The viewer finds him/herself within the #TimNext Color Party and is invited to look around and interact along with the group.
The visual ends with a First Point of View experience, as his/her arm raises to show the new Samsung Galaxy s7. This First Point of View experience was created with a second slow motion custom helmet rig, placed on the head of one of the actors.
In the phase of post production, Mettle’s Skybox was utilized to correctly distort the graphics within this 360° experience and allow the viewer to properly visualize the instructional and informative script. To finalize the colorful experience, the use of Assimilate Scratch VR Suite enhance the color.
